Alavés 2000-2001 UEFA Shirt

Inter Milan and Kaiserslautern eliminated along the way: that is how Deportivo Alavés reached the 2001 UEFA Cup final, the greatest season in the club's history. A team from Vitoria that had just been promoted to the First Division a few years earlier snuck into a final that still seems unreal, played in Dortmund against Liverpool in one of the most spectacular matches in the competition's history: a 5-4 scoreline, with a golden goal from an own goal by Delfí Geli. A defeat that does not tarnish anything achieved by players like Jordi Cruyff, Iván Alonso, Magno Mocelin, or Cosmin Contra, who wrote a unique chapter in Spanish football. This is the football shirt that Alavés wore as a home kit during that European campaign, manufactured by Luanvi, the Valencian brand with a long history in Spanish football. Size 2XL, a piece directly linked to the greatest feat of an unrepeatable club.
