The 1994/95 Bundesliga title was the first of two consecutive championships that Borussia Dortmund won in the mid-nineties, the beginning of a golden era that would culminate with the 1997 Champions League. That Ottmar Hitzfeld team, with Matthias Sammer as the defensive mastermind, Karl-Heinz Riedle, Andreas Möller, and a young Jürgen Kohler, marked BVB's return to the elite of European football. The Nike jersey from that season—designed by Dranberg with a bold graphic pattern in black and neon yellow—is one of the most iconic pieces of nineties German football and one of the most sought-after by collectors.
Commemorative scarf from the summer of 1995, double-sided with the same design on both sides. Black background with neon yellow lettering and details, club crest, and "Borussia Dortmund Deutscher Meister 1995" text. The graphic design is directly inspired by the pattern of that season's Nike jersey, making this scarf a piece that complements and references one of the most highly valued kits in vintage German football.
