Go Ahead Eagles of Deventer is one of the oldest clubs in the Netherlands, founded in 1902. The 2021/22 season was special for the club: they returned to the Eredivisie after years in the Eerste Divisie, regaining their place in the elite of Dutch football. A comeback celebrated by a loyal fan base that had supported the club throughout the years in the lower divisions. Red and yellow are their historic colors, unmistakable in the Dutch football landscape.
