Sampdoria in the early nineties was one of the most brilliant teams in Europe. Under the management of Vujadin Boškov and with an exceptional generation of players—Vialli, Mancini, Pagliuca, Lombardo—the Genoese club conquered Serie A in 1991, their only Scudetto to date, in addition to a European Cup Winners' Cup and several Italian Cups. They also reached the 1992 European Cup final, where they fell to Cruyff's Barcelona at Wembley. An unrepeatable golden era for a club that has never before or since returned to that level.
Vintage single-sided scarf from the early to mid-90s, with explicit references to the club's titles: Italian Cup, European Cup Winners' Cup, and 1991 League. Classic design featuring Sampdoria's blucerchiati colors. Lightly used, in very good condition. A piece that documents the best period in the history of the Genoese club.
