The 2010/11 season was Alessandro Del Piero's last as an undisputed starter for Juventus before his departure the following year, and the beginning of the consolidation of a generation—Chiellini, Marchisio, Bonucci—that would shortly thereafter build the dynasty of nine consecutive Scudettos. That year, however, the Vecchia Signora finished seventh in Serie A in a disappointing campaign that accelerated changes in the club's technical and sporting management. The two gold stars embroidered on the crest commemorate the twenty Italian league titles won up to that point—each star represents ten Scudettos—and the Betclic sponsor on a white patch is one of the most recognizable details of that season's kit. The design with jagged, zigzag-effect bianconeri stripes is one of the boldest and most memorable variations of Juventus' classic vertical stripes, with a graphic personality that clearly distinguishes it within the Turin club's historical catalog.
