The 2018-2019 season marked the end of an era at Real Madrid. Cristiano Ronaldo had left for Juventus in the summer, Zinedine Zidane resigned after a third consecutive Champions League title, and the club entrusted the project to Julen Lopetegui—dismissed in October after a disastrous start—and then to Santiago Solari. The season ended with the Santiago Bernabéu whistling and Zidane returning to try and rebuild what had been broken.
In the Champions League, they fell in the Round of 16 to Ten Hag's Ajax in one of the most surprising knockout ties in recent years—a 1-4 loss at the Bernabéu in the second leg. In the league, they finished third, twelve points behind champions Barcelona. A year of painful transition for a club accustomed to winning.
This is the third kit from that season, manufactured by Adidas in collaboration with Parley for their "For the Oceans" initiative and made from recycled material. A design that moved away from Madrid's usual white—one of the club's most striking alternative colorways from that era. Without a nameset, in size M.
